SELF-PORTRAITS

 

I have made self-portraits over 10 years. Since 2002, on my birthday I make photographic self-portraits.

“IN2” is part of this project.

 

I step into myself, into the wilderness of being human, leaving behind all stereotypes and divisions.

To enter inside oneself, into the depths of one`s own being. Deeply. Intimately. Extremely.

To feel.

Constantly searching. To see without looking.

Here. And now.

 

Without having to proof who we are and where we are coming from.

Without asking about  sex, age, race or job.

The only importance is INSIDE.

INTO man.

INTO woman.

INTO human existence.

INTO  every existence.
